Benalmádena

This is the city we chose for the studio. We are in the center of the Costa-del-Sol. You have access to everything just by walking! You can also use public transport which is very user-friendly. There you will discover Benalmádena Costa Marina (waterfront), Benalmádena Pueblo (old original white village further north) and Arroyo De La Miel, where the studio is located. The beaches of Benalmádena and the old town of Benalmádena Pueblo are very popular and one of the main tourist destinations on the Costa Del Sol.

Benalmádena

Benalmádena is a city where it's good to celebrate!
  • Festival Hispano Argentino
  • Feria del Marisco (Seafood Fair)
  • Romería de San Juan
  • Feria de San Juan (Saint John Fair)
  • Festival de Benalmádena
  • Feria Virgen de la Cruz
  • Fiesta de los Muertos (like Mexicans)

Go to Google to find out the dates of these holidays. There are also several shows offered in the summer at the outdoor auditorium north of Paloma Park. There is also a "Flea Market" every week near Tivoli.

Zone #1: Aroyo de la Miel (studio)

Walk around the city ...

There is life all around the studio! There are many terraces (restaurants) where people like to meet. The beautiful Paloma Park is just a stone's throw from the studio across the street. There is a cactus garden, a lake, animals, a marine zoo, an open-air performance hall, a skateboard park, etc. The city offers playgrounds (parks), sports centers and numerous shops. All services are nearby.

The train station is a 10 minutes walk away and this train allows you to travel anywhere on the Costa-del-Sol. The train passes, among other places, Malaga airport and arrives every 30 minutes.

We strongly suggest you visit Mount Calamorro “mountain in the background” of Benalmádena. Take one of the two trails or take the cable car.
